Our Story
The Growing complexity of Building
Over time, the building industry has become increasingly complex. In response to challenges like the leaky building crisis, we’ve layered solution upon solution—introducing new products for every minor task: wall linings, vapour barriers, structural elements, insulation, building wraps, flashings, tapes, air seals, drainage cavities, and more. The result? Construction processes that are more complicated, time-consuming, and expensive than ever before.
Refocusing on what matters
We’ve reached a point where 12-inch-thick walls are becoming the norm, and labour and build times have more than tripled. All this, while we continue to chase elusive solutions to moisture, condensation, and thermal performance. It’s time to ask: What are we really trying to build?​
